Perodua Kelisa / Daihatsu Coure Power Window Service

The door glass outer weatherstrip seems to be seasoned. For this time,  the full service for  power windows will be shown.

Unscrew 2 screws. The inside door handle need to be pulled backward after the screw is  removed. Don' t  forget to unscrew the door locking button. After that, pull the door trim. Don't worry, it will not hurt your door trim.

Unplug the power window switch connector and push lock (red circle) in order to remove your  switch.

It is much more easier to have only switch than the whole door trim. You will  use it  frequently to remove and  test the power window.

Remove the 2 pieces of 10 mm screw. You have to move down  the window as shown in the  picture. Be careful as after this step, the window glass is free to fall down

Last step before you can take out window glass. Remove 3 pieces of 10mm screw as shown in the picture. 

Looks dirty, take this opportunity to clean and remove any paint.

Remove the inner weatherstrip rubber. Use long flat screwdriver. This step might be hard to do. If you want to pull,  pull slowly. The rubber can be broken.

Wash it with car wash liquid. Dry it and put some tire wax. Don't wipe it. Let the rubber absord the wax.

Door Glass Outer Weatherstrip clip.

Gently remove it. Wash it with car wash liquid and sand it with  wet sand paper. The sand paper with around 400  should be fine.

After wash it, put the tire wax to the door glass outer weatherstrip. Again , let the rubber absorb it before you wipe  the excessive wax.

Put some grease to the moving part.

Don't forget to grease the big gear.

Result, looks like new. Test drive the power window. How about the  speed? Increase ?
