Nissan Livina Automatic Gearbox Oil Change

Hi all reader and info finder.

According to owner service manual book. the gearbox oil must be changed every 20,000km.
So, better check your service reminder sticker .
If you lost it, better change new oil and put new mileage service range.
Remember, the gearbox replacement or repair
always higher than oil change cost for all car brand and model.
i bought this Nissan Gearbox oil from online seller.
He said the capacity is 3.5L and dont ever put more than that.
the engine oil is from www.JTX1000.Net.
but the DIY not shown in this post.

My house parking condition don't need me to jack the car for oil change.
what you need is socket wrench with box size 19.

the old gearbox is draining out.
looks new and clean but it was more than 20,000 km.

i remove this box for easy access for me to repair some small leak.
Up to you to dissemble it or just try to put filling hose.
no mounting screw or bolt for this box.
carefully it is plastic.

now the gearbox oil stick is showing.

i remove the bolt to get the whole house and oil stick to repair the small leak.
no harm for the small leak but it will looks clean after it is repaired.

clean them all.
i just wiped them.

small amount and thin layer gasket maker for the leak repair.

Put thin gasket around the pipe.
make sure the O ring is also in good condition.

clean also this area for the gearbox stick housing

tighten the bolt and wipe the excessive gasket maker around the red circle.

gearbox drain plug.

you can change the copper ring or just put the white pipe tape.
if you dont confident try to find the copper ring.
peace of mind.

very cheap oil scope
and i find the good place to hold the scope.

fresh new Nissan Automatic Gearbox oil

put the gearbox oil up to 3.5L.
Test drive and check again the gearbox oil level on the flat surface.

Good Luck
Hope you save some money.
